Nekton-E Vitamin E Compound is a breeding-season supplement for birds and reptiles that provides vitamin E as alpha tocopherol acetate.

Bird Administration

For birds: 1 g of NEKTON-E in 250 ml drinking water or 100 g soft food.

Use as a course of treatment starting at least three weeks before breeding. Stop as soon as the first egg has been laid.

One level measuring spoon, enclosed, corresponds to 1g NEKTON-E.

Instructions: Enclosed spoon holds 1g = 1/4 Teaspoon. Mix 1 g to 8 Oz water.

Reptile Administration

Reptiles: 0.5 g daily of NEKTON-E per kg of body weight, used as a course of treatment over a period of around 14 days.

Important Breeding Note

In bird breeding, NEKTON-E should no longer be given once the first egg is laid and the female sits on the eggs. The manufacturer notes that continued use could disrupt the incubation process by making the male’s drive too strong.

After the NEKTON-E treatment course is complete, the manufacturer recommends continuing with the daily vitamin supply of NEKTON-S and NEKTON-MSA.

Store dry and out of sunlight, between 15° and 25°C.
