Candida in Eclectus Parrots

Candida is a fungal infection to which Eclectus Parrots are particularly sensitive. In some cases, both owners and even avian veterinarians may misinterpret the yellowish material visible beneath the skin.

Rather than recognizing it as a sign of Candida, they may mistake it for discoloration associated with bruising.
