The Eclectus Ark is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to educational and scientific purposes, with a focus on avian conservation and responsible aviculture.

Our mission is supported by the following core objectives:

✅ Genetic Preservation
Maintain a viable gene pool for Eclectus parrot subspecies through responsible domestic propagation and meticulous record keeping.

✅ Conservation Support
Assist with conservation projects for Eclectus and other parrot species in the wild.

✅ Avicultural Library Access
Maintain a comprehensive avicultural library accessible to students, researchers, and the public.

✅ Education & Training
Provide information, hands-on experience, and instruction for:
• New bird owners
• Bird breeders
• Veterinary students and professionals
• Managers of rehoming and sanctuary facilities

.Assist wildlife biologist and government officals with special information about eclectus 

✅ Collaborative Outreach
Establish partnerships and associations with other avicultural organizations that share similar goals and values.

✅ Bird Welfare & Rehoming
Offer permanent housing and care for rehomed birds entrusted to the Ark.

✅ Scientific Integrity & Compliance
Engage in any lawful activities necessary to fulfill our mission involving Eclectus and other bird species.
