Here at Eclectus Ark, we are always looking for ways to make healthy foods more exciting for birds. Many parrots can be picky about greens, especially fresh greens with a soft or leafy texture.

By dehydrating kale into crisp pieces, birds get a crunchy texture that may be more fun to eat. Some of our own picky eaters really go after greens when they are dried and crunchy — that is a big WIN WIN for us.

This blend combines three kale varieties: Green Kale, Lacinato Kale, and Red Scarlet Kale. Kale is one of the healthiest greens out there and is known for its high vitamin A content. Other greens with this feature include beet greens and dandelion greens.
