 Parrot-Safe Hibiscus Tea

Ingredients:

• 1–2 teaspoons dried hibiscus petals (Hibiscus sabdariffa)

• 1 cup warm water (not boiling – around 100–110°F / 37–43°C, safe to touch)

Steps:

1. Place the dried hibiscus petals in a cup or bowl.

2. Pour warm (not hot) water over the petals.

3. Let steep for 5–7 minutes until the water turns a vibrant red.

4. Remove the petals.

5. Serve cooled tea in a shallow dish, or drizzle lightly over chop for colorful enrichment.
