Parrot-Safe Butterfly Pea Tea

Ingredients:

• 3–5 dried butterfly pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea)

• 1 cup warm water (not boiling – around 100–110°F / 37–43°C, safe to touch)

Steps:

1. Place the dried flowers in a cup or bowl.

2. Pour warm (not hot) water over the flowers.

3. Let steep for 5–10 minutes until the water turns a bright blue.

4. Remove the flowers.

5. Serve cooled tea in a shallow dish, or lightly mist over fresh chop for a colorful enrichment boost.
